A few weeks back, Daniel's co-worker and his family were so sweet to let us pilfer apples (and squash) from their garden ;). We had asked if we could steal some of their apples and they said yes, so here we were. It had been raining all day but when we were visiting, the sun broke through for a short moment and we got to snatch up a good batch of apples. We've had apple sheet cake twice, and a lot of apple sauce since, and even had to freeze some of it - yum, yum. Should we ever own a house, then we'll have to have an apple tree in the yard. And plums. And pears. A little orchard should be enough... .
