New Year's Eve

Happy New Year to you!

We spent the evening at home, eating, snacking, watching movies and -once Flynn was asleep - even travelled to New York for New Year's Eve ;).

A while back, I got my great-grandpa's broken suitcase down from the attic and turned it into a NYE surprise. More later ;)

Here's my great-grandpa's address in his own handwriting. The suitcase was pretty used and not in working condition anymore. But I really liked the look of the vintage interior, so I preserved it, taking a picture.

Almost ready to begin...

...everything is lit, and full of candles.

Finally: dinner :)! Raclette made by Daniel, the great cook!

Cheese!

Here's our New Year's Eve in NY in a suitcase adventure :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! And welcome, 2015.
