What we did today...

...after being sick for more than 3 weeks with the flu, a sinusitis and total exhaustion following a penicillin intake for a week, I NEEDED to leave the house. It was a sunny day today, for the first time it felt slightly like spring. Everything looks withered and dead still, there is hardly any green around, only beige, browns and muddy colors... it´s driving me crazy. But the sun was lovely and so we decided to hop into the car and drive a little to find a quiet spot for a nice picnic. Out came the blanket and goodies and it was bliss for a while (until we were showered with pinecone seeds and needles... go away, wind!). I´m totally exhausted now and maybe going out was too much but I really enjoyed the sun. It´s time I recover!
