It's Flynn's second Christmas and this time around he's old enough to really notice it. He loves the tree and it is so much fun to just watch him.
After his dinner, we watched a clip of the Christmas story with him and then let him open his presents. He was already tired on Christmas Eve, so unwrapping presents was a bit slow at first. But after realizing what was inside, he grew more and more excited about ripping open the wrapping paper and discovering his presents. He loved his new Lego Duplo set and other toys but his favorite thing was his new koala bear, a new cuddle friend whose belly lights up and can play soothing lullabies (thanks, Mom and Dad!). He immediately hugged it and kissed it and walked around the living room with it, thumb in mouth. He was so tired and happy!
After he was in bed (with his new bear, of course) it was time for grown-up dinner, presents, and a movie. It was a nice evening.
Merry Christmas!
